Man reports robbery in Tupelo parking lot

Tupelo Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery in Dollar General parking lot south of Green Street on South Gloster Wednesday afternoon, according to Tupelo Police Lt. Marty Mask.

A man tells police he was suppose to meet a female prostitute in a parking lot and when he showed up around 2 p.m. a man was with the woman. The man allegedly drew a gun and took $530 from the man making the reported before leaving in a small red car. The suspect is described as a black man wearing a gray hoodie.

Police are still searching for the suspect and investigating the scene.
