FULTON – For the second-straight week a member of the Itawamba Community College women’s basketball team has earned Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Women’s Player of the Week honors.

Sophomore guard Ayanna Lynn (Gentry) earned this week’s award after posting back-to-back 16-point performances in the Lady Indians’ 75-69 win over Lawson State Community College on Thursday and 64-50 win over Meridian Community College to close out the 2012 half of the season on Saturday.

Last week fellow sophomore Ty-Nita Baker (Houston) earned her second MACJC Player of the Week award of the season.

Lynn will now be eligible for Naitonal Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Women’s Player of the Week honors.
