Nettleton man charged with sexual battery

TUPELO – A Nettleton man was arraigned Wednesday on two charges of sexual battery.

Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set a $100,000 bond for James R. Leach, 41.

The charges stem from a complaint filed by a 14-year-old’s parents who alleged Leach maintained inappropriate communication with their son.

Leach remains in the Lee County Adult Jail.
