Tupelo Police Department is searching for two suspects in an armed robbery at the All American Coliseum Motel in Tupelo.

Two men were staying at the motel, located at 767 East Main St., when a white woman entered the room, followed shortly by a black man wearing a handkerchief on his face Saturday night. The man demanded money, and when the two men hesitated, he fired one shot into the room, police said. The suspect took the men’s money and he and the woman left.

The call came in about 10:10 p.m. Saturday.

The black man is described as being about 6’ tall and slender. The woman is not a suspect but she is a person of interest.

No one was injured in the robbery.
