Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock sentenced the 25-year-old to 63 months on the bank robbery count and another 84 months to serve consecutively on a count of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.
He also was ordered to pay $5,322.32 restitution.
Baker was indicted on three counts in October 2011 in connection with a Sept. 9, 2011, armed robbery of M&F Bank at 901 S. Gloster St.
He pleaded guilty Aug. 17 in the face of at least 42 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
The government agreed to drop the third count in exchange for his guilty plea.
The U.S. Bureau of Prisons will decide where Baker will serve his time.
