The Beards, a Prentiss County mixed-race couple in their 40s, asked Judge Jacqueline Mask to reconsider her decision to turn the 14-month-old boys over to their great-grandparents, both white and in their 60s.
Thursday, Beard said Mask denied their motion to reconsider and chastised them for taking their story to the media.
He said he’s now concerned about their future visitation rights and want to appeal.
