Bond set for man charged in shooting in Tupelo

TUPELO - Tupelo police have charged a Tupelo man with aggravated assault stemming from a shooting at the Barley Courts Apartments last month.

Tkoyo J. Jones, 27, of Tupelo, was charged with Aggravated Assault Dec. 30 after Police alleged he was involved in the Dec. 21 shooting.

Jones' bond was set at $300,000 by Lee County Justice Court Judge Ricky Thompson.

The victim of the shooting was treated and released from the North Mississippi Medical Center.
