Tupelo to have a craft beer festival

The Tupelo Craft Beer Festival is slated for March 2 in Veterans Park.
Matt Leff of Nashville-based Rhizome Productions is putting on the event. We chatted with him today to find out more.

Farmers & Merchants Bank opening in Tupelo
Baldwyn-based Farmers & Merchants Bank, also known by as its initials FMB, is opening a branch in Tupelo, bank

President and CEO John Haynes confirmed.
FMB will open in the former BancorpSouth branch on West Main Street, across from the Link Centre.
Haynes said the bank branch should open Feb. 1, with a staff of six.
“We feel like Tupelo is the center of economic development in Northeast Mississippi,” he said.
FMB also has locations in Booneville, Mantachie, Marietta and Mooreville.
