According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the crash occurred Monday, at approximately 9 p.m., on MS Highway 4, near Siloam Road, in the New Site community.
Upon arriving, it appeared Ivan Nash, 41, was traveling east in a 1996 Dodge Dakota, when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and collided into a tree.
Nash was taken to the MED in Memphis where he died Tuesday morning from injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
