New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has been added to the Pro Bowl NFC roster in place of injured Green Bay Packers QB Aaron

Rodgers. It will be Manning’s second Pro Bowl trip.

Ole Miss points out that it will mark the 25th time a Rebels player has made a Pro Bowl roster. The game is Jan. 27, the week before

the Super Bowl, in Hawaii.

Older brother Peyton Manning is the AFC starter at quarterback.

Manning played in the game after the 2008 season.

He was voted to the NFC squad last season, but his team reached the Super Bowl.

New Orleans QB Drew Brees was already named to the NFC roster to replace Washington’s injured Robert Griffin III.

If Atlanta advances to the Super Bowl, Seattle QB Russell Wilson is the third alternate if the Falcons' Matt Ryan can’t play.
