Tupelo Police are searching for a man who broke into the Family Dollar on West Main Street in Tupelo early Monday morning.

Capt. Rusty Haynes said an alarm went off at about 3 a.m.

It appears the suspect did not take anything from the store. No description was available at this time.

Haynes said he does not believe the case is connected to a string of Dollar General robberies that have occurred recently.

The incident is still under investigation.
