She was in her 28th year as an employee of the South Tippah School District and her sixth year as principal of Ripley Elementary School. Prior to becoming principal, she served as assistant principal at Ripley Elementary School.
“We were all saddened by the passing of Mrs. Nedra Nabors,” said South Tippah School District Superintendent Frank Campbell. “Ripley Elementary and the South Tippah School District has lost a great principal, and I have lost a personal friend.”
Services will begin Thursday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Ripley with Dr. Jack Bennett, Bro. Stanley Huddleston and Bro. Jason Harms officiating. Burial will be in the Nance Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. today at the Ripley Funeral Home Chapel.
All South Tippah School will be closed Thursday for the funeral.
