Jury convicts man of 2010 armed robbery

TUPELO – Ryan McClendon will serve a 10-year sentence after a Lee

County jury convicted him of a 2010 armed robbery.

Wednesday, Circuit Judge Thomas Gardner sentenced him in the Lee County Justice Center.

McClendon was indicted in 2011 on a charge he robbed a woman at gunpoint on West Jackson Street in Tupelo. After a two-day trial, a jury found him guilty. McClendon was represented by Byan Jaxon Petty. Prosecutor was Brian Neely.
