ABERDEEN – Charles Thomas Davis of Pontotoc reported to prison recently to serve a 105-month sentence for his part in an Itawamba County meth sale conspiracy.

Davis, 56, pleaded guilty last August to one count of a two-count federal indictment.

The charge claimed he intentionally possessed, with intent to distribute, more than 50 grams or 1 3/4 ounces of methamphetamine.

Federal court documents show the U.S. Marshals Service delivered him Jan. 18 to Beaumont, Texas, Federal Correctional Institution.

The court also recommended he participate in a residential drug and alcohol program while in prison.
