MOOREVILLE – The Shumpert family won $100,000 from “America’s Funniest Home Videos” in a show that aired Sunday night.

The Mooreville family appeared on the show on ABC, but the episode was taped about a month ago.

Kirk Shumpert, 43, said the family previously won $10,000 from the show in December before advancing to the grand prize level.

Shumpert’s wife, Courtney, 35, filmed their entry and caught Shumpert on his cellphone pretending to be Santa Claus. He’s talking to his daughter, Savannah, now 6, who’s also on camera and thinks she’s talking to the real Jolly Ol’ Elf.

They were up against five other videos, and all of them featured kids or animals.
