SEATTLE – The No. 12 ranked Ole Miss men’s tennis team avenged a recent loss to No. 10 Mississippi State with Sunday’s 4-2 victory in a consolation match at the ITA National Team Indoors.

The win snaps a fourmatch losing streak for the Rebels in the rivalry series.

After a victory at No. 2 doubles to take the opening point, the Rebels earned straight-set wins in singles from Nik Scholtz at No. 1, Stefan Lindmark at No. 5 and the clincher from Adrian Forberg Skogeng at No. 6.

“A huge win for us," head coach Billy Chadwick said. “We stopped the streak and got it going in the right direction.”
