MSU men’s golf aims to maintain success

Fulton’s Chad Ramey and his Mississippi State golf teammates will be looking for their fifth top-5 finish of the season as they play in the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate which begins today in Mobile, Ala.

Ramey, a junior, ranks No. 4 in the SEC with a 72.11 stroke average. MSU junior Axel Boasson is No. 5 at 72.13.

Ramey played the tourney last season and finished 15th.

“This week will be a great test,” said MSU head coach Clay Homan.

The teams play 36 holes today and 18 on Tuesday.
