Aberdeen man facing possession of marijuana charges

ABERDEEN – Christopher Cunningham, 27, of Aberdeen was arrested by North Mississippi Narcotics Unit and Monroe County Sheriff’s office on Feb. 18, according to a statement from the MCSO.

Cunningham is charged with possession of marijuana with intent.

The arrest was the result of a traffic stop in Aberdeen on Commerce Street Extended. Deputies and narcotics unit agents recovered 4 ounces of marijuana and approximately $1500 in cash. Cunningham is currently being held at Monroe County Detention Center.

Bond has not been set at this time.
