Verona man extradited for Tupelo robbery

TUPELO - A Verona man was charged with two counts of burglary of a dwelling and armed robbery in Tupelo Thursday.

Cornelius Long, 21, of Verona, was charged Thursday after being extradited from Missouri.

Tupelo Police Capt. Rusty Haynes said Long has been on Tupelo's Top 5 Most Wanted list since December for an armed robbery that occurred at a local hotel.

Long was picked up by police in Missouri and then extradited to Tupelo.
