Potts Camp’s Lady Cardinals will open play at the Mississippi Coliseum against Scott Central at 9 a.m. in Class 2A. Ripley’s girls will face Southeast Lauderdale at 1 p.m. in Class 3A
Booneville will close the night session at 8 against Forest. The Blue Devils are looking for their second Class 3A championship in the last three years. Booneville beat Forest here two years ago in the semifinals en route to its first title since 1963.
Class 2A boys Bassfield and Coahoma AHS play at 10:30 a.m. Velma Jackson and Pass Christian play in the other boys 3A semifinal at 2:30. Class 3A Choctaw Central’s girls play Charleston at 6:30.
