CORINTH — Alcorn County supervisors have name Kim McCreless as E911 director.

Supervisors acted Monday on recommendation of the 911 Board.

Rickey Gibens, chairman of the 911 Board, tells the Daily Corinthian that McCreless has made a lot of improvements in a short time.

McCreless, who has 18 years' experience as a dispatcher and deputy director, will be left at her current rate of pay until supervisors meet to discuss salary. She has been serving as interim director since the resignation of Teresa Burns on Dec. 31.
