Baker, a sophomore from Houston, was also named to the All-Region
tournament team last week for helping the Lady Indians (19-9) claim their
first NJCAA Tournament berth since 1975.
Baker is averaging 18.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 assists per game.
Northeast freshman guard Angelia Allen (Belmont) was also named
first team All-State, while men’s sophomore guard Acie Vance (Ripley) was a second-team selection.
