Firefighters use a backhoe to break apart some of the paper rolls in a shed that caught fire Thursday morning. The compacted paper makes it hard to completely put out the fire.

Tupelo firefighters quickly got a fire behind Factory Connection and some other store fronts near Crosstown under control Thursday morning.
The fire was in a shed behind the stores that had rolls of paper in it and started about 6 a.m., Tupelo Fire Department Battalion Chief Scott Morgan said. The blaze was under control at 6:30 a.m. Firefighters are still working to completely extinguish the blaze due to the large amount of paper in the shed.
No one was hurt at the fire scene and traffic was not disrupted.
