INGOMAR - The Calhoun City Wildcats have been looking for a spark to get things going heading into the playoffs, but every time they got something going against Ingomar the Falcons would manage to find an answer.

Trailing 5-0, Braeden Reynolds took one from the team when he was hit by a pitch to lead off the top of the fifth and scored on a one-out double by Tae Lawrence to put the first run of the game on the board for City. Ingomar answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning to counter the Wildcat run.

Jarvis Rounds reached via a walk in the top of the seventh and eventually advance to third. Brandon Lovorn was hit by a two-out pitch, but Ingomar closed the door on a late game rally by inducing the next batter to ground out to give the Falcons a series sweep with a 8-1 win.

Joshua Warren was the pitcher of record for the Cats. Tyler Gray singled to go along with Lawrence's RBI double as City left four runners on base in the contest. Josh Hodges struck out 13 batters to pick up the win for Ingomar.
