MANTEE - The annual trike-a-thon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., was held in Mantee and sponsored by supporter, Peggy Stuckey. The annual event took place in the Mantee Baptist Church parking lot the week of March 30 with nine children participating in riding bikes and tricycles and ten children collecting and turning in donations for the facility.
The children raised $1,000 to help other children at the hospital. Addie Grace Oslen was the top fund raiser and had a special request.
"I want to meet the doctors who help the sick children," Olson said.
