A park visitor says the officers were blaring music in a police cruiser and riding around the park with two of the officers seated in the open trunk.
The officers were in Vicksburg this past for a sobriety training conference.
Columbus Police Chief Joseph St. John also says the witnesses complained the officers used flashing lights to deter park visitors from approaching.
He says an internal investigation continues.
St. John says no criminal activity was reported by park officials.
