Ole Miss will need to keep winning this weekend from Arkansas and get some help from Mississippi State if they are to win the overall Southeastern Conference baseball title.

The Rebels need the Mississippi State Bulldogs to beat LSU starting today. The Tigers beat Mississippi State 5-4 in Starkville Thursday.

Taking advantage of four Razorbacks errors over the first three innings, Ole Miss beat Arkansas 7-5 Thursday. The Rebels did leapfrog Alabama for second place in the Western Division and the potential No. 3 seed in next week's conference tournament after the Crimson Tide lost to Auburn.
