The company will build seating for hotels and assisted living facilities, a niche market company officials think will do well even in a down economy.
With about 11 employees now, the company, which moved into the facility on April 20, looks to double the number of employees by the end of June and have about 40 by the end of the year. By this time next year, it hopes to have about 100 employees. Company officials note that the old Westwood plant had as many as 350 workers at one time, so there’s room to grow.
