According to Monroe County Sheriff Andy Hood, Anthony Hodges is currently in the Monroe County Jail.

Hodge was arrested as the prime suspect in a domestic dispute Monday that landed his wife Keisha Brown Hodges in the hospital with gunshot wounds. Hodges was also shot in the incident by Brown-Hodges in alleged self-defense.

After fleeing the scene at 20762 Egypt Road in Western Monroe County, Hodges allegedly cut his wrists and was airlifted to Jackson for medical treatment.

He was arraigned by Judge Robert Fowlkes and is being held on a $50,000 cash bond Hood said.

Hodges was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was also wanted on one count of sexual battery and one count misdemeanor domestic violence for which he was also arraigned.

No charges are expected to be filed against Brown-Hodges.
