Tucker Jenkins of Guntown will be up early today to finish his second round at the U.S. Kids Golf 2009 Teen World Championship at Pinehurst, N.C.

Jenkins, at 13-year-old eighth grader at Baldwyn, shot a 73 on Thursday and was in an eight-player tie for 10th place in the 141-player field. The completion of Friday’s second round was delayed by bad weather.

Players who were still on the course – about half the field, including Jenkins – will resume play at 6 a.m. EDT. His third round is scheduled for early this afternoon.
