LAUREL - Two Jones County residents face drug charges after authorities allegedly found a methamphetamine lab in a home in the Pendorff community.

Sheriff Alex Hodge said Eddie Delaughter, 39, and Mona Jackson, 42, were charged with manufacturing and posession of methamphetamine. Authorities also said two children were at the home where the drug was being made.

Maj. Robbie Suber said that when investigators entered the home, they confiscated an active meth lab near the small child and infant and seized cash during the Thursday arrest.
