The Tupelo Fire Department sent its hazmat team to the scene.
Fire Captain Scott Morgan said the highway reopened around 8 p.m. Thursday, allowing two lanes of traffic to get through. Crews will be working through the night to clean up the scene of the accident.
There is still no word on whether there were any injuries.
