TUPELO – An Okolona man was arrested in Tupelo on charges of voyeurism, Tupelo Police Department Capt. Bart Aguirre said Friday.

Henry R. Smith, 47, is in jail on a $25,000 bond, Aguirre said.

Smith allegedly followed women into restrooms at Tupelo businesses on several occasions before running away. He was caught after a woman he allegedly followed chased him into a parking lot and got his license plate number.

Voyeurism is a felony and carries a maximum five-year prison sentence.
