OXFORD – A Saltillo man who was arrested last year during Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson’s Internet sex sting was found guilty in U.S. Federal Court in Oxford on Tuesday.

Jackie Peeks was sentenced to 10 years for the enticement of a child for sexual purposes and nine years for child pornography. Because it is a federal sentence, Johnson said Peeks will have to serve the time day for day.

Since it began in 2007, the Internet sex sting has netted 17 arrests, of which all have either been indicted or found guilty.
