Ricky Bowen, minister of First Pentecostal Church in Aberdeen, turned himself in when a warrant for his arrest was issued for obstruction of justice and stolen property. Both are misdemeanors and are in connection with the investigation that is under way.
A warrant was also issued for the arrest of Utilities Manager Adrian Garth. At about 5:30 p.m. it was reported that Garth had turned himself over to the Aberdeen Police and remained in custody. Garth has been charged with two counts of felonious extortion.
