While the investigation of the October 2009 death of Donna Hill continues for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, Aaron Hastings of Corinth and Amanda Wilbanks of Ramer, Tenn., are facing charges of kidnapping, simple assault and theft of property between $10,000 and $60,000 in Tennessee, according to the Daily Corinthian.
The two were charged in November 2009 in Alcorn County with disposal of a corpse.
Wilbanks was found in possession of a car rented by Hill after Hill’s body was discovered floating in the Tuscumbia River in Alcorn County on Oct. 25, 2009.
Picked up in 2009
Hastings initially was picked up for questioning on Oct. 27, 2009, after being suspected of breaking into the family home on Burns Road in Corinth. He was later charged with burglary.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is in charge of continuing the investigation into Hill’s death, and has been awaiting the Mississippi medical examiner’s autopsy report while seeking other leads in the case.
