BLUE MOUNTAIN - Lakendrick McCullum from Blue Mountain College was named Wednesday to the 2010 All-TranSouth Athletic Conference second team.

McCullum, a 6-5 forward from Laurel and Jones County Junior College transfer, finished the regular TSAC season ranked second in rebounds with 9.75 per game, second in double-double games with 16 - including a 34-point, 18-rebound performance in the regular season finale - sixth in field goal percentage (53.6) and eleventh in scoring with 15.2 points per game. A business administration major, he recently was named a 2010 TSAC scholar-athlete.

"Lakendrick is one of those quiet, hard-working young men who just go about their day-to-day business," said BMC coach Jerry Conner. "He brought an added dimension to Blue Mountain this year and really gave our young program a boost. He is very deserving of this honor and we are extremely proud of him."

McCullum was the only BMC player named to either the men's or women's teams.
