RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Delta State women will be looking for their third win of the season against Valdosta State in today’s NCAA Division II South Region game. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.

With a win, the Lady Statesmen (26-3) could set up a grudge match against Gulf South Conference rival Arkansas Tech (29-2), which beat them 75-73 last week in the GSC championship game.

Delta State beat Valdosta (20-8) 54-41 in the regular season and 72-60 in the GSC semifinals in Southaven.

DSU sophomore center Veronica Walker is coming off a 20-point, 16-round performance in Friday’s 69-55 win over Lynn in the region opener.
