Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal - Committee says no to paid tailgating in the Grove

OXFORD – The University of Mississippi’s game day committee voted unanimously on Tuesday not to charge fees for tailgating during the upcoming 2010 Rebel football season.

According to the Ole Miss Point of View, the 60-member game day committee decided not to charge tent fees in the Grove.

The committee did stipulate that tailgaters must wait until 10 p.m. on Friday before pitching tents anywhere on campus. Tents that violate the time restriction will be removed. Vehicles transporting tents to campus are also barred from entering campus prior to 10 p.m. on Friday.
