Meanwhile, Omar Leach of Booneville, Matt Purvis of Ingomar and Marcell Lucas of Baldwyn all signed their letters of intent to play for Northeast Mississippi Community College’s
basketball team.
Leach, a point guard, averaged 10 points, five rebounds and four assists per game during his senior season.
Both Purvis and Lucas are 2009-10 Daily Journal All-Area selections.
Softball: Kossuth High School standout Kelsie Follin signed her letter of intent this week to play for the Northeast softball team.
Follin is currently batting .328 for the Lady Aggies with 19 hits in 58 at bats. The infielder has drove in 17 runs and has four doubles and two triples.
