BancorpSouth to pay dividend on July 1

TUPELO - The board of directors of BancorpSouth Inc. on Wednesday declared a quarterly cash dividend of 22 cents per common share, payable July 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 15.

Last week, BancorpSouth reported net income of $8.4 million or 10 cents per share for the first quarter of 2010.
