ICC, Northeast baseball seasons end

Both ICC and Northeast saw their seasons end with MACJC baseball state tournament losses on Saturday.

ICC (29-19) fell 13-6 to Pearl River in Fulton after a 10-7 loss on Friday night. A total of eight players from both teams, including the Indians’ intended Game 2 starting pitcher, Will Irvin, were ejected on Friday night and had to sit out Saturday’s game.

Pearl River (25-25) scored 10 runs on six hits in the first three innings Saturday. ICC put up five runs in the bottom of the third but couldn’t overcome the early barrage.

In Raymond, Northeast (25-27) lost 7-2 to Hinds
