Quality Inn Update: Lynda Ford, a building inspector and code enforcer for the City of Tupelo, said the city did not chain the doors shut at the Quality Inn.
Tippah County jobs: New Albany-based furniture manufacturer Albany Industries has bought the former Agracel site in the North Tippah Industrial Park in Ripley, where it is expected to begin production in late June.
The furniture maker will employ about 200 people, according to the Tippah County Development Foundation.
