Cars were reportedly moving at 5 mph, if at all, from the McCullough Boulevard cloverleaf to the new fire station just south of the U.S. Highway 78 overpass.
One of the two northbound lanes was closed to accommodate entrance into the open house at the new Fire Station #4, which is on the eastern side of North Gloster.
The open house was scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
