Falkner man arrested for possession of child porn

FALKNER – A Tippah County man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

Investigators with the Office of the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Ronnie Andrew Fortune, 21, at his home in Falkner on Wednesday, with the assistance of the Tippah County Sheriff’s Office, for one count of possession of child pornography.

Fortune was in the Tippah County Jail on Wednesday where his bond has been set at $50,000.

If convicted, he faces five to 40 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
