FULTON - The Walmart Supercenter has completed an extensive three-month renovation, which will be celebrated with a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday at 8:30 a.m.

As part of the festivities, the store will present $3,000 in grants to local community groups.

The store has added a full deli during the renovations and now offers freshly prepared hot foods and side dishes and can prepare party trays for special occasions. The store is one of the first Walmart stores in northeast Mississippi to be renovated with Walmart's newest store design.

Also, the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Houston is being renovated and will soon share a similar look and layout. The Houston store has hired about 30 additional workers to help with its renovations, which started June 27.
