Fulton's McDonald makes cut at Pinehurst

Ally McDonald of Fulton easily made the cut Tuesday at the U.S. Girls Junior Championship at Pinehurst, N.C.

McDonald (77-73–150) finished in a tie for 15th after two rounds of stroke play qualifying.

The tournament continues with the first round of match play today. McDonald will play Kaitlin Park of Tustin Ranch, Calif., in a match that begins at 10:12 a.m. CDT.

Also Tuesday, Fulton’s Chad Ramey (75-77–152) missed the cut by three strokes for the match play phase of the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in Ada, Mich.
