PLANTERSVILLE – A woman was arrested at a safety checkpoint Tuesday after police allegedly found drugs in her baby’s diaper.

Miranda Trulove, 25, and Brandon Williams, 25, both of Nettleton, are charged with conspiracy to sell, transfer or distribute marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell, transfer or distribute within 1,500 feet of a park. Trulove also is charged with possession of Hydrocodone.

Plantersville Police Chief Maury Schuh said at a random checkpoint at Grant-Wuichet Park police discovered an ounce of marijuana, digital scales and packaging material in the diaper of a 2-year-old.

Judge John Sheffield set a $3,000 bond for both suspects and mandatory drug testing until trial. Williams is being held for a possible probation violation.
