It seems that the American Family Association’s only message is simple and straightforward: Republicans are good and Democrats are bad; the only reliable news reporters are Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity; all Muslims are terrorists; and the ACLU is destroying our religious liberties and undermining the very fabric of our civil society.
On Oct. 18 I was listening to Today’s Issues on American Family Radio. He had a preacher on who said he had visited Dr. Billy Graham at his farm and that Dr. Graham had pretty much led him to believe that he was not going to vote for Obama. The preacher, David Jeremiah, seemed very pleased by some news he received from Dr. Graham concerning an upcoming full page ad.
Mr. Jeremiah never actually said who he was going to vote for, but he sort of left the impression that it sure wasn’t going to be Obama.
Not to be outdone, Mr. Wildmon spent the last several minutes of the show pointing out his own unflattering recitation about the president.
A day or so later I was watching the network news and they reported something that was very enlightening. They reported that Dr. Graham had placed a full page ad in the paper encouraging people to vote their faith.
I guess that settles it. All you Mormons vote for Gov. Romney; all you Protestants, Catholics, Muslims, Jews and otherwise affiliated, vote for someone else. Be careful what you wish for.

Obama’s dream would weaken the America most of us love
What are the dreams of President Obama? The answers are revealed in his book, “Dreams of My Father,” and his chosen friends and mentors.
His father, Barack Obama Sr., was a Marxist and radical anti-colonialist. As an avowed socialist, he believed money should be redistributed to the former colonies. He glorified how communism had liberated Africa and Cuba, and that commumism was going to save the world.
In 1987 at his father’s grave, Obama said, “It was in my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself.” Obama had embraced his father’s dream.
Who were Obama’s friends and mentors? In Hawaii, former communist Frank Marshall Davis for eight years; at Columbia, Edward Said, a member of the Palestine National Council, who supported armed resistance against Israel; at Harvard Law School, Brazilian socialist Roberto Mangaberia Unger, who advocated an equal distribution of global resources. Other friends include terrorist Bill Ayers, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and convicted felon Tony Resko.
Obama loves to quote, “We are our brothers keeper,” and “To whom much is given, much shall be required.” Obama, a multimillionaire, has a half brother, George, living in a hut in the slums of Nairobi. He has never aided George or any
family member, though they are living in poverty.
Is Obama realizing his dream? He is weakening America economically and on national defense, taking from the private sector and increasing the size of government. The government now controls much of the automobile industry, health care, banking and finance. While blocking oil drilling and the Canadian pipeline, he has bankrolled oil drilling in Brazil, Columbia and Mexico. Through the EPA he has practically shut down the coal-mining industry.
Obama’s belief in spreading the wealth around is not limited to America as seen by the shipping of green jobs and drilling to other countries and his reliance on the U.N. and other world organizations. Considering what has happened in the last four years think what might happen when he has more “flexibility.”
