The accident occurred a little after 10 a.m. Monday morning approximately one-mile east of the scales.
Reportedly, the vehicle left the road, rolled over and struck a tree on the driver’s side. When police arrived at the scene, the driver was “unresponsive.” He was later pronounced dead.
Officials aren’t certain of the cause of the accident but say there’s no evidence of the driver, who remains unidentified, attempting to brake either before or after leaving the road.
